You've got snakes as pets, beautiful, lovely ones. Or an extraordinary bearded dragon. Or two. Or a pair of intelligent rats, or hyperactive gerbils. Wonderful, great and special animals.

In a couple of weeks you're going on a holiday. What to do with your animals? It might not be a good idea to ask the girl next door to attend to your snakes. And of course, if you had a cat, then grandma would have loved to take care of it, but rats... Your neighbour would be very willing to feed a guinea-pig, but "do I really have to feed live grasshoppers to that lizard?!".

The solution: Zootel! The holiday hotel for reptiles and rodents in the North of the Netherlands. We love to pay loving attention to your beautiful pets and pamper them. That way they too have a great holiday!

This site is mostly in Dutch, but if you browse it you'll see that we have various types of terrariums in which we can host snakes, lizards, rodents and all kind of other animals. We are not a big animal hotel, the terrariums are in our house. We'll take care of proper temperature and humidity for each animal and use only high quality food. To prevent stress we'll see to it that the different animals in our hotel won't notice each other.

We use a standard contract when you choose to let your pets spend a holiday with us, in which we write down things like your contact info, the costs, preferred vet and of course any special wishes that you or your pets may have. We'll keep track of everything that happens and when you pick up your pet you'll get a report with a picture. We can even send you regular SMS or e-mail messages with updates on the holiday of your pets!
